I want to acknowledge the outstanding service that I have received from the Laurie Hollowell Team at Keller Williams Realty Emerald Coast, Laurie Hollowell, Jim Meeker and Mark Gaddini. I owned a Golf Villa in a gated golf community, Regatta Bay, in Destin Fl. The property was on the market over 18 months without one offer. I knew that I needed to change realtors and wanted to interview several agents before selecting a new representative. The Laurie Hollowell Team was on my list because I had received a mailing from them which was very professional, detailing information about the Team’s services, plan of action, sales history and even a photo of my property! When I conducted my interviews with several agents, all three of the Hollowell Team: Laurie, Jim and Mark came to the villa and made a very persuasive sales presentation, along with assessing the property and suggesting a starting listing price. I was extremely impressed with their approach and immediately felt comfortable with them on a personal level. As promised, the Team was very aggressive in marketing the property, with email campaigns, online listings, internet blogs, MLS listing and access to the Keller Williams Listing System which includes 350 most popular search websites. Most important, in my mind, were the open houses they conducted – 9 in a three month period! Indeed, it was an open house that produced an offer. During this time, they took great care to maintain the property (I am/was an absentee owner), regulating the heating system, supervising pool maintenance, keeping blinds drawn between showings to protect furniture and carpeting from sun damage, trimming back overgrown shrubbery and in general keeping the property in the best condition. Once the potential buyer made an offer, the Team went to work in assisting me in negotiating an agreed sales price and terms. After inspection, when various items were noted for needed repairs or suggested improvements the Team went above and beyond in securing maintenance or repair services at amazingly reasonable prices. Not only did they negotiate and schedule painting, stucco repair, house and carpet cleaning, electrician services, pest control, landscaping maintenance, etc., they also had to meet these service representatives to allow access to the property and stayed while the services were performed to insure proper work. And in a number of instances, Jim and Mark did repairs and maintenance tasks themselves! From the time that I signed a listing agreement with Laurie Hollowell, I have received constant communication and updates, via email and phone. The level of personal attention has been incredible. No detail was too small for their concern and for me to be informed about. As a client, I felt their every suggestion and move was in my best interest. Not once did I feel that any action they took was self-serving for them: all efforts were to ensure my welfare. I have made a number of real estate transactions during my lifetime. My experience with The Laurie Hollowell Team has been the most professional, personable, profitable and pleasant experience that I have ever had! I cannot praise Laurie, Jim and Mark highly enough. I hope they will use me as a reference at any time in the future. They should serve as models for sales agents for any product or service. Thank you, Laurie, Jim and Mark.
